What is QUICK-LI?
QUICK-LI or intralymphatic immunotherapy is where allergen is injected directly into a lymph node under ultrasound guidance. Injection of allergens into the lymph node creates a gentle yet robust protective immune response leading to decreased allergy symptoms. The treatment is completed in as little as 8 weeks with results comparable to years of allergy shots.
What types of allergens does QUICK-LI treat?
QUICK-LI treats pollen, dog, cat, dust and mold allergies.
Are there any risks to QUICK-LI?
Injection site swelling, bruising, bleeding and infections are possible but rare. Anaphylaxis is possible however lower than traditional allergy shots.
How many visits does it take?
Unlike traditional allergy shots, QUICK-LI is completed in 3-5 injections spaced 4 weeks apart.
